Grand Banks Yachts Brings Show-stopping Lineup to Miami
Company carries wave of strong sales, new models into 2008 Miami International Boat Show

SEATTLE – February 5, 2008 – Grand Banks Yachts comes to the 2008 Miami International Boat Show with a strong lineup of new and noteworthy models, including the just-launched 55 Eastbay SX. Visitors to the show, which runs from the 14th to the 18th of February, will have the unique opportunity to get aboard several yachts in each Grand Banks' Heritage, Eastbay, and Aleutian Series.

In addition to the many boats on display, Grand Banks will also have the latest news on its highly-anticipated new 41 Heritage EU, the first Grand Banks to feature the revolutionary Zeus propulsion system from Cummins MerCruiser Diesel. Scheduled to make its debut in Fall 2008, the two-stateroom 41EU will give owners a number of profound advantages in handling, performance and fuel economy.

"We're very enthusiastic about our progress on the 41EU," said David Hensel, Marketing Director for Grand Banks Yachts. "We've sold out our production schedule on this model well into the foreseeable future, and dealers are reporting an incredible level of customer interest. But it's not just the 41EU - there's a lot to be excited about across each of our Eastbay, Heritage and Aleutian Series."

That includes the upcoming launch of the 65 Aleutian RP, the latest in Grand Banks' luxury series of raised pilothouse yachts. While the 65RP will not make her public debut until this spring, visitors to Miami can enjoy a rare show appearance of the 72 Aleutian RP, the flagship model and largest to date of all Grand Banks yachts.

Other boats on display include three in the Eastbay Series: the 39SX, 45SX, along with the swift, stylish and sophisticated new 55SX. These yachts will join the 47 Heritage CL, star of last year's Miami show, in the Grand Banks display on Dock 8 at the Sea Isle Marina.

"Regardless of what the economy has been doing, our production backlog is even better now than it was last year at this time," said Hensel. "We've sold out the current model year, and have filled much of the order book for 2009 as well. There's a lot of great momentum for us coming into the show, with no sign of slowing down."
