Lagoon Cove, Minstrel Island, B.C.
(Read the LogBlog entry from Lagoon Cove)
Lagoon Cove is a calm, well-protected anchorage with Lagoon Cove Marina on its east shore.
Lagoon Cove Marina is one of the friendliest and most popular stops on the coast. Bill and Jean Barber, the charming owners, have great stories to share about the area. The entire property has a whimsical quality about it. The workshop can't be missed. You will enjoy the modern take on the totem pole. This one is crafted from old motors and other found objects.
Things to See & Do
Fun and Games
There are horseshoes, badminton, croquet and a take-one, leave-one library. Black bears in the vicinity love the Barber's many fruit trees, so use caution when sitting under the apple tree!
Learn to Shrimp
Lagoon Cove is an excellent place to learn how to shrimp. You can purchase supplies from the marina store.
