A full day crossing the strait brings you to Duncanby Landing. Rich in coastal history, Duncanby is a wonderful place to take in sunsets and a wide variety of coastal sea life. Rivers Inlet is host to dolphins, whales and orcas. (Witnessing the towering fluke of a whale about to sound is an experience you won't soon forget!)
Duncanby Landing has been a commercial fishing camp since the 1930s. The fishermen are unfailingly polite and full of local knowledge. In 2005, the Duncanby Lodge & Marina was bought by new owners. The marina recently added a new dock to increase their moorage capacity, with plans to extend power to the new docks in the near future. The restaurant is excellent, and the new ownership does everything first-class, impressive for such a remote location.

Facilities
Duncanby Landing is an established public dock, with general store and restaurant. With new ownership in 2005 they have focused on improving and expanding on existing services, and providing superior customer service. They currently have 750' of dock and were able to accommodate everyone on the Grand Tour, plus additional boats.
