Grand Banks Yachts Displays Strength and Innovation at 2008 Lauderdale Show
Six models on display, including international debut of 41 Heritage EU.

FORT LAUDERDALE – October 30, 2008 – Grand Banks Yachts opens the 2008 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with a highly anticipated product launch, new models in each of its Heritage, Eastbay and Aleutian Series, and continued worldwide growth of the Company's Authorized Dealer Network.

This is the largest boat show appearance for Grand Banks since closing the books on record sales year for its 2008 fiscal year. In the face of continuing economic declines in the U.S. and other markets, the Company remains strongly positioned to weather the financial storm for this season and well into the future.

"We're fortunate in a number of ways, despite the current market conditions," said GB president Rob Livingston. "Grand Banks continues to be among the most highly regarded brands anywhere. We have an incredible team of people and a growing dealer network. Our cash reserves are strong, and the company continues to invest in improving our yachts and our processes every day."

"And as you can see here at the show," added Mr. Livingston, "Grand Banks offers an outstanding model line-up, and an exciting new 41EU which so far has exceeded all of our expectations."

The 41 Heritage EU represents an innovative leap forward for Grand Banks, featuring the joystick-controlled Zeus propulsion system from Cummins. It also represents a strong revenue driver for the Company.

"We've sold far into our production schedule on this model, with many dealers taking several hulls and retail orders already on the books," said Mr. Livingston. "But it's not just the 41EU - there's a lot to be excited about across our full model range."

Other boats on display for Grand Banks at this show include the 59 Aleutian RP, 55 Eastbay SX, 47 Heritage CL, 45 Eastbay SX and 39 Eastbay SX. The Company also launched the 65 Aleutian RP earlier this year, and recently announced a new 72 Aleutian SC model that will launch in 2009.

In addition to ongoing new model development, Grand Banks continues to grow its global dealer network - particularly in regions showing rapid growth of high net worth individuals. This includes the recent addition of dealers in emerging markets such as Croatia, Turkey, Russia and the Ukraine. Today the Grand Banks Authorized Dealer network stretches around the world from Seattle to Spain to Singapore, with over 40 dealer locations across 18 countries.
