Grand Banks continues its bold foray into the future of long-range cruising with the upcoming release of the Grand Banks 52, the second addition to the new Grand Banks family series. This beautifully designed luxury yacht comes in both flybridge and enclosed skylounge configurations, with two lower-level layout options that accommodate four people. An estimated top speed of 32 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots means the GB52 is a true performer, and a fuel burn of 29 gal/20 knots makes her equally efficient.
Scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2018, the GB52 is a versatile design that is a culmination of everything we learned from designing and building the GB60 and the rest of our range over years of production. The GB52 is constructed using the latest methods of fully infused carbon fibre to achieve strength and reduced weight, and employing the benefits of modified epoxy vinylester resins that are the benchmark of durability, and impervious to osmosis and blistering.
We are documenting the design and production of this beautiful new Grand Banks yacht, so you can keep up with the development across our social media channels as the build progresses.
